Valentine’s Day is Tuesday February 14th and we are taking reservations now. Compari’s is accepting a limited amount of reservations while Fiamma is accepting reservations until we are booked! What a great night to spend with the one you love. Both restaurants will be featuring Valentine’s Day specials, including Rose Regala Champagne with chocolate covered strawberries! There are many great events happening in our restaurants in February! Fiamma Grille is featuring music on most of the weekdays:

• Tuesdays and Wednesdays feature Roy Scouts on Guitar.
• Thursdays belong to Tim Mies and Keegan DeBoer as “The Bookends”!
• Friday nights showcase the jazzy Bobby and Vince on keyboard and bass.
• As a special event, The Guitar Guys will be back Saturdays February 11th and 18th at 7pm. We are excited to have one of our favorite groups back. These guys play songs you know all the words to. They will also be playing March 10th & 17th so stop in for a relaxing night of dinner or a glass of wine with our live music.

Fiamma is still featuring our very popular “Half-off Wine Night” (under $100) on Tuesdays along with “Half-off Oysters and Bubbles” (under$100) on Wednesdays! These are great nights to try new wines or Champagnes without breaking your bank.

Compari’s has some great food specials happening thru March. Mondays are Half-off Pizza Days after 4pm, and Tuesdays are $5 off select pasta dishes after 4pm! Come take advantage of these great offers before they’re gone!

Both restaurants offer happy hour at the bar during the week, 4-6 (M-F) at Compari’s and 5-7 (M-TH) at Fiamma Grille.

The Sardine Room is finally starting to take shape! We should have a menu out very soon and expect to be open by the beginning of April, just in time for patio season!

February is a great time to start planning for your spring showers and rehearsal dinners. The popular dates in April, May and June are filling fast so give Gayle a call at 734 416-0100 so we can hold that special date for you!

We would like to take this time to wish you and your family a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year.  We want to thank all of our patrons for the success we have been able to achieve throughout the years at both Compari’s and Fiamma.  A great big helping of thanks goes out to our wonderful staff as well, who help in that endeavor.  Without them we couldn’t be where we are.  We have the best!

The International Ice Festival (add link) is January 20th-22nd. The organizers continue to make strides to make this a premier event.  This is the 30th year of this festival and it’s one of the oldest ice festivals in the state. Come warm up with us before, during, or after the festival; we’d love to see you.

Monday’s at Compari’s through the month of March we are offering ½ off on pizzas after 4:00pm and $5 off select pastas on Tuesday after 4:00pm. Come take advantage of these great specials!

Fiamma Grille is also featuring weekday specials. Monday is ½ off appetizers in the bar area after 7:00 pm with any full price drink purchase. Tuesday features the very popular ½ off all bottles of wine under $100! This is a great opportunity to introduce your self to some new wines at a discounted price. On Wednesdays Fiamma Grill offers ½ off oysters and bubbles under $100. Our happy hour is Monday thru Thursday, 5pm to 7pm in the bar area.

Progress on The Sardine Room (our latest venture) is coming along well. Look for the opening in early spring! The Sardine Room menu will be offering a contemporary mix of small plates, a few large plates, a great raw bar, and hand crafted cocktails in a fun, casual atmosphere!

The valet parking service that we are sponsoring for the downtown has received great reviews. The colder the weather gets the more convenient it will become. This service is not just for our restaurants but for all patrons of downtown Plymouth visiting any establishment.

How quickly the year goes by. The holidays are upon us and it truly is a wonderful time of the year. It’s a time to reflect and a time to give thanks. It’s also a time to celebrate with family and friends. Progress on our newest venture, The Sardine Room, is moving along as planned. We look forward to opening in early spring 2012! It will feature a beautiful raw bar along with a made from scratch small plates menu, in a casual, upbeat ambiance. The front of the restaurant is taking shape and our signage will be up shortly. The inside is going to take a little longer, so bare with us, we think you will agree, it will be worth the wait!

Our Third Annual “Thanksgiving Music Weekend” will feature our favorite band “Detour”. They play Motown and R&B with a dash of contemporary music and jazz.  They will be back in the Fiamma dinning room starting Wednesday November 23^rd 7:30, and continuing Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26 at 7:30pm. Reserve now for a fun night of dining, dancing and entertainment!

We have won the Wine Spectator Award five times in Fiamma and we are pleased to announce that Compari’s has won it for the first time this year. We are very proud of our great wine lists. Come in and talk to us about ordering wine for any of your holiday events.

Downtown Plymouth has an abundance of holiday activities.

Santa arrives in Plymouth on November 25^th and is looked forward to by many. It features a tree lighting ceremony and Christmas carol sing-a-long! This is one of the holiday events that make Plymouth so special.

Kellogg Park will also showcase the annual “Walk of Trees”, Christmas trees decorated by local families, service clubs, groups, and businesses. Tree decorating begins November 18, 2011 with viewing through December 31^st, 2011. Take a stroll through the park then come warm up with a great dinner at Compari’s or Fiamma!

New to Plymouth this year is “Dashing Through the Stores”, a special holiday shopping night just for women with special sales, treats, give-a-ways, and door prizes. Restaurants will have specials for ladies only. This event takes place December 1^st from 5 to 9 pm.
